2，5。 Como ya han dicho por ahí el libro se divide en dos partes， la primera， en la que se conocen y se intercambian los emails y cartas es la que más me gustó。 Cuando dejan este formato y se empieza a contar todo solo desde el punto de vista de la protagonista me empezó a aburrir。 Ella me resultó bastante pesada。 Igual lo recomiendo si a alguien le gustó la peli Purple hearts， me dan las mismas vibras。

This was a super sweet book。 I loved that it opened with emails and instant messaging - it moved along the story， while still telling a lot。 By the time they finally met in person， I was practically squealing。 The burn was so so slow， and it was worth every second。

the beginning （the whole first half of the book， actually） felt a bit slow/long， but after 50% of the book it got so much better！ I wish we had seen more of them together rather than just 1 week， plus the ending was a bit unsatisfying tbh， but overall I liked it， they are such a cute and comfort couple ♡

I appear to be in the minority for loving this one so much， but hear me world， I LOVED IT。I didn’t even know I liked reading about friends-to-lovers so what an awakening for me。 Ruby and Aaron go from virtual strangers to virtual best friends， and to be tipped into the more than friends territory without the physical interaction for about 80% of the book is something I really appreciated because that goes beyond basic romance， it’s friendship， it’s loyalty， it’s respect， it’s trust。 Mariana Zapa I appear to be in the minority for loving this one so much， but hear me world， I LOVED IT。I didn’t even know I liked reading about friends-to-lovers so what an awakening for me。 Ruby and Aaron go from virtual strangers to virtual best friends， and to be tipped into the more than friends territory without the physical interaction for about 80% of the book is something I really appreciated because that goes beyond basic romance， it’s friendship， it’s loyalty， it’s respect， it’s trust。 Mariana Zapata writes slow burn， and to me， part of that means the attraction of the male character to the female character can sometimes be quite subtle or muted。 It’s not in your face， it’s not over the top， and， for better or for worse， it does play down the importance of the attractiveness of the female character to the male character。 When Ruby and Aaron finally meet， the attraction is clear， albeit we only get her point of view， and his attraction is tinted through her lenses。 Ruby and Aaron probably aren’t as easily loveable as standard romance leads， but they felt real to me in all their weaknesses and awkwardness。 Ruby is that friend who is sensitive and empathetic to her own detriment， and Aaron is that guarded male whose code can only be cracked by one person - his best friend， Ruby。 He becomes her cheerleader， she enables him to open up， come to terms with his own situation， and it’s a healthy emotional symbiosis。 Ruron forever。One regrettable thing about this book that kicked this down to a 4-star was the treatment of ethnic foods that are perceived to be weird and gross。 Ok， offal is not for everyone， and yes， there are some foods that I would have a hard time eating， but to attach it to a specific ethnicity for laughs is unnecessary and insensitive。 。。。more
